Ofcourse he does. It would need to be a conscious effort to not know that after 4 years.

Even beyond basic on field language. I talk with my teammates a ton without it being basic on field communication and I don't even see them every day. He supposedly came largely because of Messi but he can't speak to Messi during practice or on the plane because he doesn't have his interpreter with him? If MSN all spoke different languages and could get by with just basic words thrown around that all of them could understand they'd be a much less effective unit.

Maybe it can help for some extent if a player understand the national language in the country. But on the other hand, it's not unusual that players are able to perform well even withoout it. And while it's true Arda has praised Messi countless of times for being GOAT, he didn't joined Barca largely due to the Argentine. The Turk said years ago on Turkish media that Barca was his favorite club as a kid and dreamed to join them. And speaking of Messi, there's a sequence where he and Arda seems to talk and laughing eachother during Barca vs. Bate. So I suppose Arda is able to speak with Messi (?). I'd rather say MSN tro are effective unit mainly because of their superior qualites footballing wise.
