By the time Bravo's current deal ends he will be 35.

Would be Dumb to even consider selling our Future GK and giving Bravo a new deal and thinking "Bravo can keep playing at such a high level past 35!" The only thing I would be Okay with is giving Bravo a new deal and Mats being our number one GK while Bravo accepts his role as a back up GK in the future.

Yes it would be incredibly dumb, but I wouldn't put it past te club. They have screwed over youngsters with potential numerous times

It's called trial balloon.
Club has ties with MD and are known to let out these kind of "rumors" just to see how fans react.

We can't lose him. Bravo will decline in 2 seaons' time, and from there, Stegen will be no1 and will probably stay so for a long time. It's up to him if he wants to stay or go, but we should think of him as untransferable.

we can't loose our best keeper for sure just because the other one has a potential to be better.

By the time marc actually shows his potential may be some other guy in the market will have more potential.

He is already showing it. It'd be dumb to lose him.

is he currently better than bravo ? On merit who should be first choice ?

He had a shaken start of the season, but he's playing well now. It's hard for me to say who's better, because Bravo minutes are consistent, not cup minutes.
Both are on a very similar level, to me.

Think is he's not better than bravo and winning matters first

Marc has never been the sole reason for losses, ever. He made some stupid mistakes in the past but was just as important in the CL as Bravo was in the league. Add to that his age, his potential and his playing style and you'll see why it'd be stupid to sell him.

Bravo might be marginally better than Stegen right now but the latter has the potential to become the best keeper in the world. That, to me, is unquestionable.

Young & great GKs are incredibly hard to find + not everyone will be suitable for our style of play. We signed THE keeper who has everything a potential world-class GK needs to have. Why sell him? Because Bravo is better RIGHT NOW?

If we sell him now, we'll find ourselves desperate for a good goalkeeper in the near future. It's inevitable. And I'm pretty sure that we'll end up with a much worse player than Marc.

Not directing this at you but people should stop pretending that Bravo is miles ahead of Marc. He isn't. I agree with those who say that he's better but to me it's not that much of a difference to justify seeling the younger keeper with much more potential.
