Lucho will come out and say what Pep would say 'I want him to keep trying, he is brave' etc.

Any coach with common sense would say the same thing. It is bad enough for mats that he made a silly mistake at a crucial point. And if the teammates and the coach doesn't give him support that is game over.

No. We should have just stuck with what was known to be working. That was Bravo in the league. There's an old saying that says you don't fix what already is working. Which is what we tried to do, and ended up creating a problem for the team that didn't even exist before. We had Bravo who went two seasons without making a single mistake of this magnitute, won the Zamora, and was overall either the best or the 2nd best keeper in the league. We screwed the pooch, that's what we did.

Bravo wanted to leave. How hard is that to understand???????????????

The worrying thing is I think Lucho believes it.

The problem is also attitude of the players around him. We didn't use Bravo like this. We played every now and then back pass to him but with Ter Stegen we are doing it ALL THE TIME!!! They need to stop doing that!!!

Bravo wanted to leave because there were hints that he was going to lose his place to Stegen. Stegen was the first who put pressure on the staff to play more. No player wants to leave Barca for City on his own.

Number of pases he has douring the game is insane. We need to stop this shit. It's like we have a CB not a goalkeeper i would not do that even with Neuer!

Changes would only be made if there are no trophies won at the end of the season. It's frustrating to be sure but if in the end trophies are won then the majority of people will say the risks are worth it.

For me personally I say it's worth the risk. There have been at least a couple goals scored for Barca that have come directly from passing with our keeper, teams pressing ultra high, breaking through and taking advantage.

And you could say that the team is still working on this tactic. Barca have always passed a lot with their keepers but not at this level. I think by mid season on you'll see less mistakes which means MSN and others taking advantage of breaking through that high press. I'm not worried..... yet.

Lol how would you know any of that? Buying into nonsense Sport articles much? Bravo left because he wanted to leave, that's it. And there's plenty of players who would leave Barca for a team coached by Guardiola, remember any?

Conveniently ignoring that Bravo got a decent pay rise going to City.

Never rated him and feared the worst when I heard Bravo was getting sold. If he wanted more game time he should have been told Bravo is number 1, if you don't like it you can leave.

Great then, let's replace a keeper who makes terrible mistakes every few games with one who makes less terrible mistakes that still lead to unnecessary goals. Flawless logic.

Every GK is mistake prone, but there are different types and rates of mistakes. De Gea beat MATS easily in that regard and would argue that he is much better GK too tbh.
But as I said b4 this club has gr8 tolerance for GKs anyway,MATS will continue here for years unless the coach turn against him.
The selling part is just frustration reaction, you know that man.

I've defended Bravo a lot and you probably know that.
But I think it was broken this summer, simply when either/both of the GKs decided he isn't happy for the situation and wanted the change.
