He played 7 knockout matches when the pressure is on, not 13.
Maybe the sample was too small, and he didn't have time to show "what he can", like he is doing now, when he plays regularly (on larger samples).

The pressure is also on when you lose a group stage match and leading to place second spot.
He clearly showed what he's capable of during that season, if he were shit at first and been making lots of blunders then your point is gonna be ok-ish of what he makes us worried about. But he was good and about recent performances just show it's just a matter of time when he going back to 14/15 form and as i said hopefully he'll be back to his form again and making less blunders throughout a season, it's simple as that, don't need to play with if's and speculations.
And MATTER OF TIME doesn't mean let's wait 3 years and see what's going on, let's just wait for a few months and then start to pointing out something.
We were playing much better than everybody else in that Champions League. It's not like Stegen saved us or anything. He saved a couple of good shots in the first half vs Bayern and that was pretty much it. The rest of the team got the job done by virtually dominating every opponent we've met to the point of deciding every tie (City, PSG and Bayern) after one game.
I didn't say he saved us, The BBZ's point was about making blunders many times and he's saying as if he's been doing that several times since his first debut but he hadn't done any blunders in his first season with such a big club and big competition.
