He had some big saves yesterday, MOTM probably. Definitely could have done better on the fourth goal though, just like any keeper who lets a goal in at the near post, but I feel after a very shaky start of the season, where he cost us points like at the Celta match, he's definitely growing as a player. We probably wont win Liga or CL this season (first time in awhile..) but that has nothing to do with MATS being number one keeper. The team just isn't working right and it's a sad coincidence that it occurs with his first season playing all competitions.

I think 3-4 seasons we will see him develop into a world class keeper. There will be less freezes, his brain farts will happen less and less and with a good coach we may win CL and La Liga even with him at the goal. Go MATS!

That Leganes goal was a long time coming, can't keep a clean sheet if there's only one guy working for it. It's a testemony to ter Stegen's performance so far that we made it to the 71st minute in the first place.

He was having an amazing game, but that conceded goal was weak... He could have conceded in any of the other chances he saved, so kinda hard to pin it on him... Best player on the pitch, by far...

Roberto shouldn't lose that ball anyway and the other players shouldn't allow the Leganes player to shoot.

I rather think he had a LUCKY game today.
With two exceptions, the other great saves were just mere luck, which is also needed but the conceded goal shows how vulnerable he is when it comes to easier situations.
