Although I remember when he was slated by Man U fans the same way Mats is slated by Barca fans now. If Mats keeps getting trust as our #1 I have no doubt he can reach De Gea's level. He's still a very young 24 years old.

Utd are pussies if they let him go. Can you imagine buying a prospect, building him up despite his many blunders in the beginning, he becomes world-class, then hops off to another team so they can enjoy the fruits of your labor?
We should have done something similar with Mats. Can't have a GK learning his way into being a top GK here. Its too risky and we've lost points/games because of it.
Still think can end up being a top GK but I wish we could get him back when it happens. Maybe loan him somewhere like Roma or a somewhat big team and we can try for Lloris (never gonna happen but just a thought).

You guys are crazy! Our defense and overall play were shit, don't blame mats for this result. So yeah, let we splash some money on a WC keeper instead of buying 5 a 6 field players that are necessaire to get to the top back again.

He and some others (Neymar, Raki, Masch, Mathieu, Roberto, current Iniesta) are a perfect example of a current Barca.
Players who can play well for some weeks and offer some magic, but in general they are either not too good for the highest level or they are the most hot and cold players in the history of football.
I know, all players in the world have some bad games, but our players are setting new records of hot and cold performances.
This is a totally different level.
One more time, no Barca team had such high number of hot and cold performers as the current Barca except Barca from 2000-2003.
Vsn Gaal's Barca was way more consistent.
Rijkaard's Barca was consistent for the first 3 years.
Pep's Barca was way more consistent.
Tito's Barca was more consistent.
Only Tata's Barca can match this horror show.
Again, I am not puting all the blame at Lucho.
Half of our players are not good enough for Barca.
I would easily sell: Mats, Masch, Mathieu, Rafinha, Roberto, Rakitic, bench Iniesta, Vidal, Digne, Arda, Gomes, Denis, Paco.
And a world champion of hot and cold performances, Neymar, of course.
We don't need to sell all of them, but too many of our players are either technically, physically or mentally not good enough.
And people, this is not ovet.
This show will continue in the next season as long as we will have these players.

I agree with you but I am also 100% sure if we just get rid of Arda and Mathieu in the summer and bring world class CM, RB, young CB and young winger we would be much better than this horror show we are today. Off course world class manager is a MUST. We should than gradually release Masche, Rakitic, Vidal, Gomes, Rafinha, Paco, Dingne and Denis but this won't be done in one transfer window.
As I wrote already we can not expect from the board total sell of. Realistically only Mathieu and Arda will be sold this summer from our current squad. There is no chance we will sell either Gomes or Paco, and I sincerely doubt we will sell Rakitic, maybe one of Denis or Rafinha could be sold. We could also bring back Munir, Deulofeu and Samper and promote Alena.
Not all of the players are bad some of them have big problem with Lucho's tactics so I hope this can change when a new manager arrives. Busquets can for sure be better than this, so can Pique and Alba, not to mention Roberto if he is played in his position, same goes for Rakitic and I am 100% sure MSN would function much better with proper midfield. So if you just put one great CM player in our squad balance will come and more so if you have proper RB and a winger on the bench who could actually contribute. Also with a better defense our GK's will be better. Because of that I do not want to go on pessimistic side for next season I still have hope.

Should have loaned him out in his first two seasons when we signed Bravo, but as always, the club lacks forward thinking.
Chelsea did so with Courtois and it paid off. Instead we now have a GK who had two years of his crucial development stalled at a club that has no time to be very patient these days
Those two years somewhere else would have either made him a great GK or told us that we need to look for someone else

Because there is no chance our board will publicly acknowledge they threw away 65 mil + variables.
No way in hell they will do that! You'll see! I can bet on anything.

This is my biggest fear out of this fiasco. Everyone is talking about rebuilding and buying players but holy crap we JUST brought these guys last summer for big money. No way in hell will they try to rectify the situation by admitting their errors at least this summer coming up. Makes me sick really.
