You do realize it's possible to concede near post without it being your fault, right? Our defense has a massive tendency to let forwards take wide open shots that are straight bullets.

Even before we signed him, I saw him as an overrated goalie, but probably better than Victor Valdes. I'm still waiting to see what all the hype is about, but I'm not holding my breath anymore. He might be good with his feet, but he's just not a good enough goalie for us. We need a goalie who make a difference, not one who's to blame for at least 2 of the 3 goals. Cillessen has been playing amazingly during pre-season, why not start him?

Ter Stegan is bit of small to make those saves. Maybe Neuer or De Gea on their best game could make the save on CR7's shot.

both should have been saved by a world class keeper. I saw cristianos goal as soon as he cut to the right, part of being a good golie is to anticipate what a player might do. Asensios goals was unexpected, but it was on the goalie's post. If you can't see 2 goalie mistakes there, then idk what to tell you. He was out of place, and Zidane must have told the players to shoot from the outside since he's obssesed with being out of position.
