Bah we can't blame Mats for this. Our midfield turns the ball over in the worst positions deep in the opponents half. That's not on Mats.

Surely biased as I am Dutch, but time to get Cilessen more frequently on the field. How many times have this guy been beaten, with him standing as a freaking statue

Should have at least jumped, which is frustrating, but wouldn't save anyway. Unbelievable how much space Asensio had to shoot. Fuck.

so far I haven't seen what Kahn himself could have done. Maybe if he was over 7 ft he'd have a chance to reach Asensio's shot

My reaction isn't just for Asensio's goal though at least he should have tried.
He seems arrogant to me the in way he approaches the game.

That save was the reason we didn't concede again lol. His style is very unorthodox that's for sure, but I thought that the save itself was quite spectacular. He is good at those types of saves - powerful shots saved from close distance - reminded me of his save from Marcelo's shot in the first leg.

Stupid ESPN commentator was emphasizing how lucky he was in that save ... little he knows it was actually intentional and probably the only solution other than putting his face to protect the goal. Amazing reflex and decision making.

Stegen is also realistic .. he is not willing to waist energy and time when he knows the ball is impossible to reach. This can piss off some of the fans.
