Think we bought him because he’s a “ball playing GK” but he’s no good at that now, only short simple passes at the back to CBs. Goalkeepers like Ederson are so clear of him when it comes to distribution.

This! I remember when people were impressive by his feet but this is a 'nice to have' for a GK. Primary i expect from a GK to make saves and a barca keeper should be able to make also some of these 'impossible' saves. Look at Navas at Real or now Courtois, both are miles better than Ter Stegen.

Wait, is this actually legit? Seems surreal, I mean, he's bad, but conceding 77% of the shots on target in a month seems crazy.

Edit: Fucked up the MAT(h)S. But still 63% of all shots... You can see how we get shafted in the CL.

Every time our opponents shoot on target, there is 63,63% that we'll conciede... Just... Wow.

And some of those shots were blocked by defenders, so the statistic would be even worse, if I took those out.

I am so sick of this guy. They say he is top 2 top 3 compared to the likes of oblak neur and the rest but he is trash.

And this is the same guy who posts how much he loves barcelona on his twitter page, motivational speeches then comes around and asks to be the highest paid keeper when teams in financial crisis

What also bothers me, he doesn't come out of the goal early anymore to clear or pass a ball back to another barcaplayer. He used to do that a lot earlier in his career, often successful. Now he hugs the goalline scared. Especially this season i often thought where the hell is Stegen after a long ball that felt reachable for an anticipating keeper which he used to be. It feels like his confidence is completely gone. No "aura" that a top keeper usually has.

Bad from the get go, he just got lucky back then
With the ball hetting him, other wise hist technique
Has alwats been shit.
