LOL!
What shot would go in do you mean?

I can literally not see one remarkable save in that clip, he looked rather shaky, leaving rebounds on everything, leaving his line in a way that wasn't very secure multiple times.
He made 2-3 saves that could be rated as good, but that's all.
I rate Oblak, but that is hardly an example of a good game, nevermind a great one.
Ter Stegens game against PSG (1-4) that I posted a link to above is more impressive.

Could Inaki Pena be a serious candidate to keep him on his toes? I think Arnau Tenas is the most talented GK we have in our squad, but he's still very inexperienced.

Maybe he just need some decent competition again

what competition man, this keeper was mentally done
and crap since we got him, and Germany knew it
thats why they never took him seriously.
he was lucky in few games but he never ever
was a good keeper, his technique is totally
wrong in every keeper department, plus he is
so damn slow to react to the ball, so please
all give it up on trying find an excuse for
this really really bad keeper.

I really don't like either of them.
Pena is as old as someone like Donnaruma, same age as MATS when he was signed, all while having zero first team experience, not sure I've ever read about interest from Liga clubs in him.
Tenas is a bit younger, but again not sure he is Barca level

ter Stegen's stats this season (don't know if true, if one can fact-check, do so please):

39 games
96 saves
45 conceded goals
13 clean sheets

So he concedes a goal from every third shot, roughly.

Yeah... But that's the whole season... He was semi-decent until recently...

Nowadays (since RM)... He conciedes 60% of the shots.

Wow and that?s just la liga. Neto might also be skewing those stats to be better or worse than Mats? personal stats.

But even without accounting for Neto?s involvement. Those stats average to 5.33. Let?s be generous and say he?s 5th best in la liga. Puts him in europa league where his mentality belongs

yeah. actually he has the best cross interception by percentage, but then you look at the number of crosses he had to deal with and there aren't many.

Which is pretty good, as the defenders aren't great at defending them either.
Stats are interesting sometimes but most of the time not saying so much, especially on keepers. Save% is a very bad stat.

Lol, no reason to look at stats, he is slow with his hands/jumping, which is basically what goal keeping is about, so he tries to compensate with wierd leg saves and even wierder placement. Thats what you get when you buy keepers primarily on their ball control & passing ability.
