Both Neuer and Weidenfeller will play the german cup final next weekend and therefore won't be available for that match.
Because of that he needed to call up another goalkeeper and gave that spot to ter Stegen.

Though, that team against Poland is a glorified under 21 squad(no Bayern, Dortmund, Lazio, Genua or Madrid players) and hopefully MATS won't have to play behind yet another crappy "defense" wearing the german colours.
