Relax guys. He cant play La liga nor UCL.

Records on UEFA.com show he is not registered for the competition by Barca. UEFA allows you to register only a new goalkeeper in the situation where there is a long term injury to any of the registered goalkeepers. The opportunity to re-register or de-register new players has also passed. By the rules, teams can only update their team list before the knock-out stages commence and Barca did not register him before the Benfica game.

Although he is registered in La liga by the rules, he is de-enrolled from the match day team list on the account of his long term injury. He can only play when he meets the criteria for team's match day re-enrollment which are (i) there is enough salary margin to take Mats in without deregistering Tek or (ii) the club informs La liga that Tek's contract has expired with an evidence of such agreed by both Barca and Tek.

I am not so familiar with the rules for CDR though.

He is just making some noise to get himself back onto the team in case the opportunity shows up, e.g. long term injury to Tek or Pena. I also dont think Flick is that malleable to accept him back as No1 just like that.

What is the exact context of that ter Stegen-Messi thing in German? @Loki

Is he trying to say that Messi pushed his buttons or something and knew to hit him exactly where it hurt.
No, he's just saying they had every now and then different opinions. It wasn't like they quarreled, but they weren't best friends either. I think they simply had a professional relationship, when sometimes they've agreed, sometimes they didn't. I can imagine many players had topics they didn't agree with Messi over the years, which is completely normal, but simply didn't say anything because of Messi's status. Ter Stegen isn't someone who will keep silent.
Nothing really more to interpret here I think.

edit: And I also think Messi shot him in the face in training, otherwise it wouldn't have made sense to bring it up

Ter Stegen: "I think Leo is probably the only player who—if he wants to shoot you in the face—can shoot you in the face. The others would probably shoot anywhere, but he has the ability to hit the target."
GOAT tried to fight terrorists with shooting them in the face. :ROFLMAO: It's so obvious Messi shares our opinion about this statue. He knows terrorist cost him a couple of CLs.

I wanted MATS to stay in 2017 but in hindsight that was one of Lucho's biggest mistakes.

The idea of Messi being petty and aiming directly at his face is a bit funny can't lie

He must have really hated ter Stegen. Not sure there's much mutual respect either considering Messi left out ter Stegen's name when asked about good GKs he played with.

To be honest, from what I could have gathered following Messi over the years is, I feel like he's not the most open and easiest character to be around if you dare to confront him. Messi wasn't used to people not agreeing with him. His best friends in the team like Suarez, Alba, Busquests, Neymar never argued with him and agreed to everything.
On the other hand, he was never really close to players like Iniesta, Xavi, Pique. And MAtS is also a character, who wouldn't back off from an argument because it's Messi.
I could be wrong here of course, but I feel Messi prefers yes-sayers in his environment.
