There is no mystery at all, Victor Valdes thought he was going to get filthy rich when he made the deal with Monaco, Barsa offered him 8,5 clean but he cared only about the $$$ and the 60 million he was going to get at Monaco, this coming from his own entourage. So he rejected the 8,5x4 for 34 million clean Barcelona offered him because Monacos 60 was much more $$$, of cause he did a Valdes meaning FUBARING himself when rejecting Barcelonas last offer which came AFTER he injured himself and later being dumped by Monaco ending up with no club and no $$$. Now he is being dumped by United after AGAIN rejecting an offer from Valencia because he thought he was going to replace De Gea

So Again, Valdes finds himself without a club because he is so thickheaded, well maybe Espanyol will offer him a contract, they need a keeper now that Casilla is going away, but maybe his ego is to big for him to accept earning less than a tenth of what he aspired to when ditching Barcelona for Monaco

No I am not hating on Valdes, I'm just telling what actually transpired.

So it's not like no one will pick him up. As already said above, Valencia have been interested in him. He rejected their first offer a couple of weeks ago though.
