Raul has 400 goals. Just saying. Messi will get a lot more (without serious injuries and if he doesn't do a Ronaldinho). He has 10 more years at least in the top flight. Even if he scores only 20 goals each season from next season on he'd hit the 400 mark. I expect him to score 40 - 50 goals a season for at least the next 3 years though. That alone would already be enough for almost 400 goals. He'll finish his career with 600 - 700 goals IMO. Pele has 643 goals in official games.

come on guys. leo doesn't go to the history books because of his scoring. doesn't matter how many goals he scores at the end of his career. he will always remembered as messi, not because 'he scored x-amount of goals' unlike pele or cristiano.

You are correct, I've never heard anyone revere Don Diego for his goalscoring ability.
One dimensional players like Cristina and Pele will have only that.
