Man, Messi was soulread tonight. :( One or two defenders (dont know which) owned him, the way he usually owns defenders.

Awesome shoot though, where he usually would have a goal. Great save...

You show yourself to be one of the most ignorant members on this forum time and time again. If you can't see the difference between receiving the ball 40 yards out, having to take on an entire team and being on the edge of the box against two static players there's no hope left for you.
You are an idiot ,as we all know but we keep supporting you ! Keep it real !

Rewatch the Chelsea matches. They also put all their men in their own box and Dinho scored while being surrounded by 7 players.

Dinho scored two goals from open play against Chelski, both with far more space than Messi got at any time across 180 minutes against Inter.

I think Cambiasso did that, he tried drible him several times, but didn't work.
After the game a commentator on my stream highlighted a few of the situations, where a defender (maybe cambiasso) went left and right simply manipulating Messi right into his arms, again and again. Coudnt help to think it was awesome, despite it beeing done by the wrong team.

He had time in that situation which Messi never had tonight because the defenders in front of him were static, but how is it even relevant? Messi was marked out of the game by Inter, largely because the creative forces behind him were shut down, on the occasions he got the ball in a decent position he forced a truly world class save from Julio Cesar and set up Bojan for a sitter which he managed to miss.

other than that shot, messi had no other chance to shoot. his path was always blocked or a defender was chasing him off.

and we should give credit to Inter for that, they played him to perfection and sometimes you have to hold your hands up and admit the opposition did a job well.
