That's just stupid, Messi deserves that price this season. One match is nothing.. even if Messi plays like sheat (which he won't) he deserves it. He has been tearing Ronaldo apart this season.

i haven't seen much of him lately but has he been poor? has he got rested much this season? if he is having a poor run it could be from exhaustion which could affect his performance in the Final against us if it is true!thats why i think ye could rue drawing last night as it will mean ye will have to go full out in another game and won't get a chance to rest players

I agree, man... Even in the Clásico he wasn't as good as he has accustomed us to, sure, he got two goals and an assist, but the goals were more Xavi's work than his. Had he played like he has done all season, he would have scored at least 4 or 5 goals...

clearly you can see he is exhausted.. he hasnt been injured this season, played almost all the games with great performances from start of la liga to about february/march, i undertand he must be damn tired, i wish Pep lets him rest after wednesday's game, he should be on the bench for the rest of la liga games until the CL final IMO.

I think that's how it will be; he will get some much needed erst in the next few weeks. As i've said before, no more midweek fixtures after the Copa, and more importantly, if we wrap up the title, Pep can play the likes of into: :hleb: :caceres: :sanchez: etc. After all, Atlètic's season is finished. I suspect he'll give :valdes: a run-out to warm up for the CL final.

I also want to see Messi rested. This is a very good chance for us to play Hleb, Guddy, Bojan for these 2-3 games. Tuning these players up would mean they can come handy in the CL final. I think Messi should start the Wednesday game off the bench.
