Will apparently miss the next two games against Sporting and Athletico. He may not be fit fot the Kazan game , but he should deffo be fit for Mallorca game.

:)

So we don't get to see him for 2 games :( possibly 3 :(

2 weeks for that foot wood be great news, I'm still fearing worse news after the full exam today.

In some sense it was inevitable to happen to Messi one day, I just hope he recovers quick and gets back to his normal game without any side effects athletes sometimes get.

Come on, positive thinking guys.

wow, wouldn't have expected marca to photoshop the image in barca's favour.

although I suppose that's just a byproduct of getting both guys on the cover while not using the whole page up.

the comments after this was posted were lolworthy.

dunno if it has been posted but it pretty much re confirms what i said , will miss next two games and may be fit for the Kazan game.

great news.

had a feeling it wouldn't be THAT serious, but his reaction really made you worry. but you hadda expect his reaction given his injury history; he probably thought something was broken.

I think we'll probs see him off the bench vs. mallorca, then getting his first start vs. valencia. that's what I hope anyway.

Very interesting idea from tigerlily there. I think for tackles like these red cards are not enough. Irrespective of whether intentional or not, players who tackle like this should get match bans.

People say he might be back for the champions league game in Kazan. Well it would be good if he didnt play there. It will be a hard pitch, so more chances on injury. Also the travel to rusland won't do any good.

I have suffered ankle twists in the past. Even though they heal fast and nice, the acute pain at first is agonizing.

can see something like this happening-

misses next two games
plays last 10-20 mins against Kaza
Then possibly start against Mallorca

Would make more sense to rest him there , but we all know whats he's like, if he is fit he will want to play.

Incidentally, Ujfalusi never actually went to the locker room to apologize to Leo...He instead had Aguero act as his intermediary...Coward anyone?
