It's moments like those that I'd back any player who'd go down. The advantage is taken away from Messi when the player makes that sliding tackle, therefore it is a foul, just not drmatic enough for the referee to give a penalty. If Messi went down, I would have said "well done". If it was Ronaldo, I would have said "you dirty cheating fucking girls vagina!", but he would have had every right to do it as the tackle foolishly comes in.

problem with ronaldo isn't that he goes down to those challenges, it's that he goes down to anything that remotely resembles a challenge or an attempt to get the ball away from him
