had a poor first half, but that second period proved that he's a baaaad mother fucker.

Where was that earlier though, right?...Seemed to be sleepwalking at times and then, boom, he was his old self again...Toying with defenders left & right, he's a difference maker, no doubt

Should've had that pk on Javi, sooo frustrating

Bojan:

Even better:

41 goals in 36 matches and 20 assists! It is UNREAL!

Could see him score 50-53 goals if he does not pick up injuries (Please God)

Tasty dribbles. Loved how he immediately got on his feet on that tackle.

Very nice sequence! I missed the game..

41 goals in 36 matches and 20 assists. I really thought he couldent get any better but those stats really are unreal! AMAZED!
I wonder what he would cost to buy was he available this summer..

Superhuman skill, should have been a penalty, but another selfish run. Look at Pedro (17, inside of Iniesta) when Messi starts. All Messi has to do is send a pass through and Pedro is 1v1 on the keeper. He actually has a 2nd chance to pass to Pedro after evading the 1st tackle, and then to Villa after evading the 2nd, but he plows on into the defenders. Great heads up by Villa to realize Messi had no intention of passing.

Messi needs to get this effin monkey off his back and play team ball again. He makes great assists when he's deep, but once he starts a penetrating forward run, he's solo. Defenders don't have to worry about covering any one else, and they've boxed him out for the last month. If he used his options, defenders would have to mark for the pass as well.

absolute GOD!

funny how pedro just gets ignored and they don't even show what happened to him in the replay. camp nou just EXPLODED after that decision.

agreed that it would be better for the team, but without this messi wouldn't be messi... imagine if for his getafe goal for example he decided to pass instead of shoot at one point... that would've sucked

still though,41 goals.. motherfucking 20 assists

Looks like he got an elbow to the face, whether from the follow-through of the clearance, or intentional.

Actually, the assist to Villa vs Arsenal shows exactly what he's capable of when penetrating- draws three defenders, then slots a delicate pass through to Villa with the outside of his left boot while in full stride. Just wish he'd do it more, *especially* in tight games.

yep, but when he's near the box his killer instinct tell him to shoot... it's what made him what he is now, i don't want him to stop doing it at all but you're right, in tight games he definitely should be more selfless in those situations
