Anyone knows what is the record for most goals in a season(in all competitions)?
Come on Messi, break that record.

So after how long does he score in a CL KO away game? Definitely not under Guardiola... Strange coincidence(or is it!?) that Messi does it the first time and Pep breaks that CL KO duck, that too courtesy of the very goal!!
I think 53 by Ruud van Nistel Ruuy... Not sure though
Van Nistelrooy's record is 44 goals with ManU in the season 2002-03. It seems difficult to find the record for european leagues.. but maybe in a minor league someone scored 100 goals (?). Anyhow.. Ferenc Puskas has the record when it comes to a player in the spanish league: 52 goals.. in the 59-60 season.
Check this out:

they probably took away 3 goals from Puskas and gave them to Ronaldo to help him win the Pichichipuskas record is 49 in the 59-60 season.
edit: hmm weird, marca says its 49, but everywhere else its 52
*Something which may be even more important than his awesome 48-goal-and-counting record. Leo Messi is on course, to be Champions Leugue top-scorer for the 3rd year running :mental:
