Agreed. Can't blame Messi even one iota. Even someone as classy as him is going to struggle to make an impact coming into a side who were playing as poor as us in that 2nd half, particularly given he only had approx 25 minutes to try and make an immediate impact.

Everytime messi dives, he get a yellow, everytime cristiano ronaldo dives he either get a penalty/freekick or he doesn't get a yellow..
