This! He did save us, that perfect assist (and what an asisst it was) came when we most needed it, he was literally our only threat last night and he didn't really get any help from the others, he had to do everything on his own. Could he have done more? Of course he could have, it's Messi after all and we haven't seen his limits yet but that doesn't mean that he was poor or whatever.

There was not many more options than to pass around the area to search for a way in and that excellent run the box was also started from one those numerous passes made outside the stacked Milan box and Leo being...well Leo and seeing even the smallest of space or opportunities made something out of nothing.
I'd also liked us to have been more direct and taken more straight shots/runs instead of trying to tip tap it inside the box all the time but specially after Don Andres went off we lost the other player to with the abilities to effectively run at and dribble stacked defenses other than Messi, so we were trying to confuse, disorganize and penetrate the airbus by numerous passes but if there's anything an Italian team can do well it's defense and kudos to ACM as they stayed strictly organized no matter what. Solving a parked bus remains one of this Barca side's greatest challenges.

BTW he's Messi's FK was a beauty. he's steadily getting better and better at them.
