Equaling Kubala's record (who was one of the three magical Hungarians we had in the 1950's and 1960's the others being Kocsis (has the greatest goal-ratio of all time in international football and Czibor) is simply stunning considering his age.

If he maintains his goal-scoring ratio for the past 3 season for another 5-6 seasons he will become one of the most prominent goalscorer's that ever has graced the game.

Has to be the considered as the greatest player of all time regardless of whether he wins a World Cup or not.

People will point to Maradona at 1986 as if Messi has to match or better that performance. Yet the totally ignore areas in which Messi has outperformed Maradona as if they dont count.

Looked up Maradonas record in european football for Napoli and its not that great, something like two goals from open play intwenty five games. Both of those goals coming in a 5-0 win against some Hungrian team.

Hes on his way to being the best ever regardless of World Cups.

The World Cup argument is pathetic imo. So many greats never won a world cup, does that mean they are all not class any more? Load of rubbish.

whata vision :worthy:

Look at the way the players are fairly static to begin with.

As soon as Messi gets on it they all kick into life as they know he will create something.

All time European Cup/CL XI - L'Equipe

he make it to the list at age 24 :worthy::barca scarf:
Phil Neal wtfbbq he was decent but ahead of players like Cafu D:, Seedorf is mental there is many players i would put in there before him and one is an ex team mate Pirlo and ofc Xavi etc.

You're completely missing the point of this lineup. Seedorf won 4 Champions League titles with 3 different teams and he definitely deserves to be there. And Neal won 4 European Cups as well, this lineup isn't necessarily about the best players that played in the CL.

Pretty sure he is of Italian descent

He is but that does not exclude descent from another country;).

Basically the article says that a great-grandfather of his left Catalonia in 1928 and settled in Argentina. But he probably has Spanish ancestry etc. as well. Argentinians are usually a mixture (Spanish, Italian, French, Polish, Welsh, German etc.) as most of the Americas.

That gif is awesome of Leo's 2nd goal...10 men!...10 BATE players inside the 6 yard box on that...Only Kezman is absent, probably sleeping in Puyol's arms
