I hope all doubts that his passing is anything less than world class have been completely disappeared now...

Has there ever been a question about that? His passing in Argentina when he gets the role of a playmaker has been magical for a while and has been in previous seasons as well, not only this one.

I just find it hilarious that people and retards (pele hello) say Messi is not a complete player as Ronaldo or complete in general. When Ronaldo can play as a playmaker and outshine Iniesta and Xavi, then come say he's more complete. His vision is just insane.

That jibe was unnecessary. Messi is the best player in the world, but there are other players who have been excellent this season as far as goalscoring is concerned and deserve praise:

Cristiano - 18 goals in 18 matches

Mario Gomez - 21 goals in 20 matches

Huntelaar - 23 goals in 20 games

Even Van Persie with 17 goals in 18, among others.

Of course Messi is very superior to these players (while they can somewhat match Messi's goalscoring, Leo is superior at every other aspect - passing, dribbling, vision, etc...), but that doesn't mean we should just rubbish their goalscoring exploits. And it's not like scoring penalties is that easy anyway.

Still disappointing that the world's best player can't even get the respect of a referee on a penalty...It's as if referees have collectively decided that he loses that option due to his abilities
