Most magazines do it. I think it may be to do with distribution – first by mail to subscribers and then to newsstands and bookstores.

Or maybe it's to do with the 'shelf life'. The earlier it comes out the longer it gets to sit on a store shelf and be traded.

What are the Norwegians smoking? Toure and Ibra in the top 3  I can understand Pirlo and Falcao but the other 2 are not deserving at all. Maybe they just wanted to troll Ronaldo.

That's what stood out to me as well.

Xavi and/or Iniesta definitely deserve to be in the top 3. Especially over such players as Pirlo and Touré.

Don't get me wrong, I do believe that Pirlo has had a good season and definitely performed well enough to be in the top 5/10, but not in top three.

There is no difference between Cronaldo, Falcao, Ibra if you look effectiveness in relation to playing time:

Wait, people still read FourFourTwo? That piece of bullcrap? I used to be a subscriber from 05-10 and the amount of EPL bias in that book was amazing, It became even worse when they starting creating their own Top 100 Players list in late 2006 and from then on I just knew for sure. I still have the 2009 Top 100 players edition where the Chelsea team who finished 3rd and won zero trophies, had the same amount of players in the top 100 as the treble winning Barca team.

A lot of their readers wrote in and complained about it :rofl1:

The funniest moment was in the 2006 Top 100 Players edition when they gave a special mention to Agbonlahor, saying he would probably make the list the next year :rofl1:

I think one of the last editions I ever read was the one where Joe Hart and Gareth Bale were listed in the top 30 best players, and Gareth Bale only because of his perfomance against Inter. Hart was listed higher then Neuer

To make matters worse once Barca started winning everything they became the typical British football fans, only watching the EPL and Barca/Madrid games, so they started sucking on our dick. There was a point where they listed Victor Valdes the best Goalkeeper in the world.......
