its a real shame that in spain and especially in the camp nou the chant are so weak... i wish the 100000 had a fanbase like the german or the english clubs have with their "ultras" their are the heart of a club and very crative in inventing new songs... but i guess its a general problem in spain stadium that its not so noisy like in other leagues its the mentality

To be honest you dont wanna follow the English fan base because they do tend to take it too far with some of their songs.

i know but its nothing compared to german football where the stadium are full and the fans are organized and everyone is shouting like its their last game... expect bayern münchen who are just shit with their fanbase and their asain fangroups^^ ( no racism)

Yeah Camp Nou is too quiet at times, but the some "ultras" sitting behind the keeper do make some noise and generally start the crowd running. But do not forget that % of non fans in Barca and Madrid matches is massive, its like visiting a national museum or park, where as Germany for example most people are there just to support their clubs.

If you look at south america, Argentina for example, its non stop singing...winning, tie, lossing at home by 4 goals??... non stop singing and passion!.. plus if your in the front row, you get to be stampeded every goal your team scores..so thats extra fun..

A lot of our ultras are banned from the stadium.

your right.. but im really disappointed when i see valdes in his goal and the stand behind him is pretty much empty or quiet... in gerneral a big could should have enough supporters who run the show ..in barcas case i guess 50-60% of the people watching a game are visitors from outside catalonia or doesnt have a season ticket... so this makes is a bit harder... but i think its a cultural thing that the audience only applauds when they do something special

know that too.... but its a thing which really defines a club by far even there are good and bad ultras

damn i wanted to dedicate my #1000 post to the best player of all time .. but i just missed it .. so now here we go and he will get the #2000 post too :)

congrats to me and to :messi: :troll:

I'm not sure that 50-60 per cent are tourists as Barca have around 86000 season ticket holders. However the club sells around 30,000 match day tickets as season ticket holders can sell through the club. A match day ticket is amongst the highest in Europe where as season tickets are cheap compared to other big clubs. Tourists basically keep season ticket prices down. Ultras provide most of the crowd support for most European teams such, especially those in Italy, but most of our ultras have been banned.
