It would be the end of many things. Although, I kinda like the idea of Messi playing for Bayern under Guardiola and winning the trophies he deserves.

The trophies he already won with Barça? This comment...

Of course he is not leaving, but if he did it would be the most logical destination, you got to admit that.
Don't understand that "logic". Messi doesn't play where he can win trophies or likes the manager, but where his heart is. If he ever leaves, the logical destination would be Newell's.

Well, what I meant by that is that I think he deserves more trophies (winning the CL again etc.), but the quality of the rest of our team is preventing him from that.

You think the best player in the world who is still relatively young would just "disappear" into a shitty league where he would get a shitty salary. That would never happen. Remember, it's about where he would leave to now, not when he is 35.

It's even more facepalm worthy now. He will get more cl's with Barça.

Regardless of the fact that he wouldn't and won't leave, yes, I don't think he would choose a club that doesn't feel like home to him. And Bayern is among the clubs that require the most adaptation and integration into a whole system of beliefs, politics and lifestyle (and one that couldn't be more different from the one at Barca, Spain or even Germany). That would make it the least recommendable destination for him.

I'm not so sure, but that's probably just me. I don't see how that is facepalm-worthy, either, but I guess I just can't be as optimistic as you, then. Who knows, maybe I will be when our defence and midfield are sorted out and Mascherano is thousands of miles away from this club and not starting over Bartra.

Barsa certainly hasn't looked as if they could win CL this year, but I honestly don't see Messi leaving this club if they don't, I could see him leave if our team goes to consecutive years of winning nothing, but that's highly unlikely.

Leo is not that young anymore, so if Barsa stops winning would you guys blame him if he leaves?

 not that young anymore. Messi hasn't even hit football prime. People forget because Messi has been dominating for a long time now, but he is still just 26 years old ok. This is the age players begin their playing prime.

Since when is Messi old, or a title mercenary? "If Barça stops winning" what, the cl? Barça won't stop being a competitve team, or winning trophies.

If Messi jumps the ship for Bayern he would sure be the most decorated footballer ever but he would never ever be considered among the best again... It's like Roy Keane would say, "Having a great career doesn't mean you are a great player - there's a big difference"

In fact he would have the best chance to cement his reputation as the best player ever if he brings Barca back to the almighty status they enjoyed under Pep!!

So, NO! He will not move, not unless there's something very bad going on at the club that we don't know about!!

Well he is about to hit his football prime, lets not make this seem so far away, he's not 24,23,22,21,20 anymore, that's really young in comparison to 26... that's what I meant. Usually player's prime start from 26-28, so Messi is as close as it gets, what, do you see Leo playing this amazing when he's 30? I highly doubt so:lol:

First off, I am a huge fan (or fanboy, it depends) of Messi's, he is my favorite player in the world.

I can understand why some people want Messi to succeed, but come on, unless you are a Messi fan first and Barca fan second (or not a Barca fan at all), how can you wish him to go to another team to win more trophies?

Messi is huge, I love the guy. But Barca comes first. Messi = Barca, I can't picture him elsewhere.
