Like I've said, Bayern and Dortmund are great teams, but they don't really have any players who stand out. None of their players are as good as Iniesta, let alone Ronaldo, let alone Messi.

Bale's not even the best player in the PL IMO (IMO it's either RVP or Suarez), let alone 3rd best in the world.

Maybe, but Bale won all the player of the year awards, so its clear 'voters' like him.

When was the last time a defender was one of the top 3 for the Ballon d'or?

I do think a Bayern player will get 4th though. Probably Muller or Ribery. Like I said though, they don't have a player as good as Iniesta, Ronaldo or Messi, so there probably won't be a Bayern player in the top 3.
