I should rest him fully against Malaga and no bullshit friendlies anymore..
Then Tata should slowly bring him back in, no more full 90 minute games for like a month. We need hem in the CL.

I dont get why people justify Godin's actions by saying football is a man's game and he is just being targeted cause its precious Messi.
Not here obviously but on other fora. In my opinion his behaviour is as disgracefull as Ramos trying to break his knee or Pepe stomping him.
Could be a page right out of Xabi Alonso's book by the way.

Well, Godin defended himself and tbh I believe him. I saw nothing dirty against Leo the whole 45 minutes, nor from Ateltico's whole team in the 90 minutes.

Godin lied, the intention is clear from the the way he behaves.
To be honest, Messi was missing from the start, this injury didnt occur in the Atletico game.
Still its disgracefull in my opinion to signal to kick a player out of the game.

As a RM fan and someone who really dislikes Messi, I have to say I agree with raskolnikov. It is a man's game (although women are quite physical too :D ) and you shouldn't drop to the ground the moment someone touches you (khm Neymar khm), but the video doesn't lie. Godin is a douche in this entire story. Period.

You mean (khm Ronaldo khm) ???

The guy is the purest embodiment of diving... Even the dictionary itself probably mentions him in regards to diving... Busquets is a saint compared to CR..

Regarding Neymar.. He certainly was a diver, but as of now it remains to be seen, given that he supposedly changed his ways when he learned he is coming to barca.. So we'll see..

Enjoy him for what he does, otherwise you will miss out on the worlds greatest footballer.

I wonder were there people who grew up disliking Maradona and now feel foolish.

They never saw him play outside of the world cup and a few summeries on a few Napoli games.
There was no Youtube in the 80's :p its also part of why World cup created legends cause that was the only moment where everyone could see a player shine compared to nowadays when we can watch leagues we would never have been able to a few decades ago.

imo, what godin did was worse than any diver or playacting. Telling a teammate to go and kick on a opponent is one of the worst thing you can do in football, imo ofc..

Any further updates on Messi's injury?

I read it two weeks ago that Rosell, Zubi and Bartomeu met to discuss about developing a thorough and systematic plan to help Messi regain and maintain his physical fitness. Any details on that?

I pray that he will not be physically vulnerable moving forward which will hamper his career.
