Its not about him roaming per say but more about Suarez, if Messi starts out on the wing, he'll have Suarez in the middle occupying cbs so he can dribble into space more, if Messi starts in the middle, we'll see more one two's with neymar/suarez/iniesta in order to worm through defenses.

I do think he becomes more predictable on the right as he always wants to cut in on his left. Of course he can still beat a man, even when he knows which direction he's going to go, it just becomes far more difficult. It's the only real way to accommodate Suarez though I suppose.

I dont think so actually, unlike younger messi, Messi now uses going to the byline and crossing with his right pretty often, he has what 2 or 3 assists off of that this season?

We should constantly interchange our three forwards, that way we are far less predictable and seen yesterday. Messi was in Messi mode yesterday, meaning unplayable.
