Ronaldo is often on the periphery of the game but he's still always amongst the goals.
Messi is always deeply involved and always amongst the goals.

That right there is the difference between the two. Last season would be an exception as Post Christmas Messi was often on the periphery.

Messi played so deep that you could easily mistake him for a DM. Maybe he will be like pirlo when he crosses 30, at least I hope.

Really smart play on the second goal too. 90% of players would just play the pass to the right but Messi has incredible vision and awareness and thus he picks out an even better option. Superb.

I can't think of a batter player for doing nutmegs?? Suarez at liverpool was up there with Messi for a while but Messi seems to pull them off every single game.

This is why the only argument you need to which of them is better is simply watch them play, ignore the stats and the individual prizes and such. If you know anything about football, and you watch both of them play-by-play you can't pick Ronaldo, with his sloppy touch, bad passes, avg dribbling which seems to be forgotten by most fans when he score a header, a tapin, and a penalty goal. Great goalscorer, and after that a big period.

Tbf Ronaldo passing is not that bad for a winger/forward. Sometimes he delivers good passes. Rest agree, almost shit dribbling imo.

I kinda feel bad about Gabi expulsion as Barca took their foot off the pedal.

Great game. He has been in GOAT mode for a while now. I am really glad suarez is here doing all The work so i don't have to watch him struggle in The center-forward position.
Can you imagine messi as center-forward against these tough bastards?
