100 goals is pretty much certain at this point, and to think they did it without a "proper" midfield... Wow.

Also, Neymar and Suárez have missed a quite a few matches.

Messi - 3261/3690 = Missed 4x 90 & 69 minutes
Suárez - 2115/3690 = Missed 17x 90 & 45 minutes
Neymar - 2525/3690 = Missed 12x 90 & 85 minutes

In other words:

Suárez have missed 43 % of this season.
Neymar have missed 32% of this season.

Hypothetically speaking, had all 3 players played all 3690 minutes this season and kept their current goals per 90 minutes ratio, then they would have scored 107 goals at this point in the season.

Is it just me or is nearly all attacks this year developed from the front 3? Its as if though the mid is nonexistent for most of our goal scoring opportunities. I think Suarez this year has more assists than xavi+ iniesta combined.

This can be good but its worrying if we play sides like chelsea or Bayern. They can easily neutralize the attack which will make our team void.

Said that alot of times. We need a stronger midfield that can actually help deliver the ball to them so that NSM can stay in attack.

Final third players racking up the assists is a normal occurence in football. Bayern's top 3 assisters are Robben, Ribery and Müller. Cristiano Ronaldo is Madrid's top assister. Kroos gets all his assists from set pieces exclusively. Modric had 6 assists last season. Rakitic so far is on 5 as is Xavi with limited game time. Culés get nervous over the funniest things.

Can't say i'm concerned with our midfield at the moment, any team that can have a player like mascherano as the reserve DCM and Xavi as a reserve CM isn't doing badly.
The actual assists are coming from the front three because those are such talented and creative players, and they do their work in the attacking third. In the last 2 months we have really started to do a better job at getting the front three on the ball and allowing them to work their magic.
