I wasn't trying to "take" anything from him this season, but yeah, I am very excited too.

Since there is only 11 games left, I decided to take a look back at his last 11 games in La Liga.

Goals Per Game - 1.55
Assists Per Game - 0.64
Goals & Assists Per Game - 2.18

Goals Per 90 Min - 1.62 (11 x 1.62 = 18. 32+18 = 50)
Assists Per 90 Min - 0.67 (11 x 0.67 = 7. 14+7 = 21)
Goals & Assists Per 90 Min - 2.29

Oh, and he is directly involved in a goal every 39 minute.

I hope he can keep up this monster form!

I think he might go through to 31 while shifting progressively to play maker which requires less explosivity from him, Win the 2018 WC and say goodbye bitches, i'm going home, and go play a few years for Newells Boys in Rosario.. would like this for him.

He has a worse chance for 2018 than 2014. I can't really name any up and coming Argentina players that are not in attack. Germany is a young team and will probably be the only team to defend the WC title.

During my lifetime. Don't know much about WC statistics before the 70's but I'm guessing it was around the 50's-60's when Brazil repeated? If so, my apologies.


I still think it would take beyond a miracle for Argentina to win it in 2018.

To be honest, I don't expect him to score 50 this season, maybe 45-46. Next season I can definitely see him score more than 50. Back in 2012-13, before he got injured, he was on his way to 60!

He might finish at 40 or 50, we can't really say for now. He is very much capable of scoring 18 goals in 11 matches.

Barca play a potential of 18 more matches, if he continues his form he can reach 50 league goals and 73 all competitions. It is really hard but it is possible. 45 and 65 are more reasonable though...
