Could possibly be an act, Argentinian FA get their money since Messi is there, the fans wont complain him being more dedicated to Barca, he gets a rest/holiday and gets the medical green light just before the celta game.

No, he wouldn't be faking it ofc. He always wants to play and I heard he wanted to play yesterday too despite the aching foot. But he barely could jog in training and Tata wouldn't use him.

Teo exactly the organizing committee are all money hungry trying to parade their stars. Just glad Tata is in charge because he knows how grueling LA liga is and how useless these friendlies are.
