So it's ok to use injuries as an excuse for the Brazilian Ronaldo but it isn't ok for C.Ronaldo? :neymar:
Taking care of your body and not getting injured is like 50 % of your duty as a footballer. Ronaldo wasn't taking care of his body and he was a pig at many stages of his life. So let's take away credit from CR because he probably gives up a lot of things and works super hard so he can maintain his body and be injury-free?

seems like you're only judging him on his post-WC 2002/RM years.

no one ever used ronaldo's injuries as an explanation of his poor form every time he plays bad despite performing at a ridiculous level week in week out.

Erm what injuries does CR have that come anywhere near to Ronaldo's injuries?

There has never been a player like Ronaldo de Lima and there probably never will be. 6'0 and built like a shit brickhouse. Pure power, speed, ball control, two-footed and perhaps the best flair in the history of football. He was simply just scary good at Barcelona and Inter.

A player with so many injuries still has some of the best career statistics around. Even after his injuries he was still world class, says it all, really.

Agreed. He had mad skills on the ball. And he knew when to use them most effectively (unlike a certain showboat who does unnecessary step-overs near the corner flag while his teammates wait patiently inside the box). He's an honest player, like Messi, who rarely falls at the slightest contact.

Rightly called the best player for his time, and rated by most people above the likes of Zidane. Still the youngest ever FIFA World Player of The year at 20 years of age. Twenty. Other than Messi, who else could've looked good enough to win the most prestigious individual award in football at 20?

Let's keep everything positive :)

Anyone else uses Messi's celebration IRL or is it just me? I use it very often, much more than needed.
