Well, it was MDM's fault - but it was Kompany's poor positioning that lead up to the PK. He was like 3 meters behind the rest of the back 4, with better awareness he would have moved up and Messi would be offside.

I think he was very tired. He put in a bit of a shift, something he usually doesn't do. Slightly worrying if this is his standard fitness level once he's actually running and pressing. He shouldn't fade away after 60 minutes against 10 men. Hope his condition improves and he's just not fully fit yet.

Yeah, Kompany with his positioning and Navas with his dive playing a part in it too. Not solely Demichelis.
