Antonella bored of the game? :p

He left the stadium minutes before he scored.

His loss.

Yeah but his speed, acceleration is still there... that's what makes Messi, Messi, but Messi looks uninterested at times, there's been many plays where he just watches the ball pass by him, and just looks at it but doesn't really move to get himself in a good position to do damage.

I don't really know whats wrong with him regarding that aspect, but him losing his skills and speed is out of the question, there shouldn't even be one to begin with.
occasionally he still does things very few players does after him, so his skills are still there, but i dont see the same intensity from him anymore.

If that is the case I would call it a decline in motivation and passion for the game.

Iran was playing fucking ugly football and there was not much place for Messi...that's why most of the balls were flying above him.
However, like I said before, needs to be more eager when he doesn't have the ball.

His dribbling looked decent (7 according to whoscored), passing was better then in the first game and then a great goal at the end, all in all a decent performance. Could be better but its not easy playing against a parked bus.

Messi doesnt seem to be in shape ever since that 3-4 Madrid game, as if he lacks energy/stamina to go at his best level for 90 minutes.
Either that or he is just tired of playing football in general.
On the other hand, the whole Argentinian team seemed out of shape and lacking energy.
Players like Di Maria, Rojo, higuain, Gago,Mascherano and Aguero were all very poor, unable to controll the easiest balls, everything in slow passing tempo as well.
Messi was medicore at best but still saved their ass again.

They lack this Veron/Riquelme type player that bosses the midfield, at this rate they will go out before the semi's as usual.
You can get away with this against Bosnia or Iran but Hoping for Messi to save you won't work against the likes of Belgium, Netherlands or France.
