The majority of those who fill up the stadium don't belong to the elite.

I think this is a serious disadvantage of being a south american international. you barely get competitive games against weaker opponents, and instead you have to play your arch rival like twice a year in asia because your federation likes money a lot.

^^ Messi is a freak of nature, short, quick and skillful and most of all gods gift to the football world.

Hazard and Gotze are short, but you don't see them having the same speed and skills as Messi, nor will they ever be. It will take awhile before we see another similar version, Maradona was one, and Messi js now

Gotze isn't short,he is 1.76m even for footballer that isn't short .it is average but not short tbh, 7cm taller than Messi

Nah, it will be open to everybody who can afford a ticket (between $30 USD to $460 USD, well within the range of affordability for most folks in Beijing), plus the elite doesn't care about football, at least not as much as the average joe does.

I won't be able to make it, unfortunately.

And the latest news that came out says this "Souther American Derby" is going to be formalized into an annual event, which will most likely take place in Qatar next year.
