Honestly though, one amazing goal doesn't hide the fact that he was utterly crap in the first half and it was not better than any of his games wearing Blaugrana. So the saving for WC thing out the window.

I might have been too quick in saying he is past it (still yet to be seen or proven wrong), but he needs to show his fire and give his best like he is doing in the second half.

Flavia, you always use the whole team playing bad argument to defend Messi. He can be, and should be criticized when he is not playing well AS AN INDIVIDUAL.
