Huh? They go down different routes mate. Argentina will face Switzerland and then either Belgium, USA or Ghana. Germany face Algeria/Russia and then France most likely unless Iran/Nigeria pull off an upset.

Thanks for clearing that up. Maybe I was looking at a different group when I was analyzing it. That sounds good. I think they can handle Belgium and can go to Semifinals.

So what is the possible team that Argentina might face if they get to Semifinals?

I think so too. The Netherlands will probably (hopefully) beat Mexico and the opponent in the quarter finals for the Netherlands will be Costa Rica or Ivory Coast, if I remember correctly.

Yh I don't see how it won't be Netherlands, in which case if Argentina get there, which I think is less likely now than before the tournament, they will have to try and learn from Netherlands-Chile. I don't see Argentina breaking the dutch down unless it is on the counter.

As Catalin said probably Netherlands but this World cup is unpredictable... Costa Rica could also make it.
