Pretty much. Iniesta, Xavi, and Busquets have repeatedly stated they look to Messi every time they have the ball first and foremost. From this video, his ARG teammates ignore him even when open. It's ridiculous.
Maybe due to lack of chemistry and thus not on the same wavelength? But this video is just terrible.

I don't think so. I think they don't play with him on a regular basis so they don't know it's enough to give him the ball to win. They know he's better than they are, but they still consider him a "part of team play". That's not how you play with Messi imo.
If Messi is anywhere near you, and you can give him the ball in any way, you don't even think about it, you simply do it.

Pretty much. And foul him every time he touches the ball. That's what ARG did, and that's what Chile did. Both teams had a game plan to neutralize Messi.
