I tried counting how many touches messi had during the latest incredible goal against bilbao, I counted 18 touches, lol.

That move when he taps the top of the ball against the ground , making the ball bounce slightly is one of my favourite moves. He did it against Santos when he scored the fourth goal and also when he dribbled that last bilbao player leading to one of his best goals.

I truly wonder sometimes how Messi views himself.
It takes a special kind of person to not let a godly talent like he has go to his head. I guess when you're truly at the top there is no need for arrogance.


I can already picture him watching highlights of himself years down the road "Man, I'm awesome."

If he was arrogant the whole messi vs Ronaldo would be more fun. He would actually be insulted that he is compared to him.

I believes that when Messi finally retires he'll not become a nutters like Maradona and Pele holding on to world best. Thing is Messi doesn't need to hold on to it. Records and the world would speaks for him.

Let us be fair, at the start of the season Messi was struggling, but he still managed to reach 63 goals /w 4 games to go. So nothing is impossible. Also, next season he is likely to play around 65-70 games for Barca an Argentina.
