You're welcome
60% of Messi's goals in 15/16 have arrived when Barcelona have been losing or drawing. During all his previous seasons this figure was 44%.

I am going to brag about this to my friends and on other forums.

A comment on reddit showed the numbers for other forwards as well:

Neymar: 0,34
Suarez: 0,39
Bale: 0,30
Benzema: 0,52
Ronaldo: 0,29 (Which is not bad as many people say)
Aubameyang: 0,43
Lewandowski: 0,39
Higuain: 0,51
Diego Costa: 0,77 (13 goals)
Giroud: 0,55
Dybala 0,52
Aguero: 0,57 (That newcastle mach ruined it)

To be honest, I do not like percentage of goals being used. If you rescued your team in every game but then went on to score 5-6 goals in every game, your % is going to be shit. Absolute number of goals while drawing/losing is a better measure, or atleast use it in conjunction with %.

I do like that honestly. It means Messi steps up when the team needs him the most. Not in urgency to score when Suarez or Neymar have already done so.

Last week i was watching the Barca Manchester 2009 final .. they showed a statistic at the end that have shocked me .. Messi run 10 km and Iniesta about 9.5 km .. i could believe my eyes .. a 22 years Messi is faaaar more athletic than a 25 - 28 years old Messi. Messi is literally a walking goat right now ( lol )

That's how he plays today. If we are winning comfortably he normally tries to set up Ney or Suarez for goals.. He doesn't seem to care about scoring goals anymore for just sake of scoring. He just scores when we need one. What a player!

I'm sure he could still run that 10km a game, BUT he probably couldn't do it as effectively. They let Messi walk more, so he can have better acceleration and speed when he actually really needs it. Team is sacrificing their legs to save Messi from too much running(especially for example Rakitic/Iniesta/Suarez etc), because that's the best part of his game. How much did Messi ran last CL final vs Juventus? Anyone know? It must have been more than vs Arsenal.. Messi looked very tired vs Arsenal anyway.

Messi: "I'm not interested in personal records, because they don't make you win trophies." [el grafico]

Messi stopped caring since 2012. Its funny how him and Ronaldo are both two of teh best goalscorers ever but exact opposites in a lot of ways.
