Let's hope juve can hold off ronaldo and at the same time prevent madrid to celebrate their 12th.

That way, top scorer will still be Messi and also Madrid will lose one trophy.

If that's the case and Madrid only won liga (We won copa), then the Bdor is more on Messi's favor, becoming the ultimate goal scorer of half of 2017. Closest rival may come from Juve though, either Dybala or Buffon perhaps.

If above scenario is not working (Madrid win Champions and Liga), ronaldo will be on top, regardless of him becoming top scorer or not.

If we won liga instead and madrid lost the final, Messi is most definitely be on top, far ahead of anyone else.

But then all also depends on 2nd half pf 2017.

Messi is already out for the balon d'or regardless the result of CL final. Format is changed, journalist don't give a fuck about his Pichici in La Liga (that probably Real will win) or 10 goals in the group stage but only one (on penalty) in knockout stages with his team eliminated so early. Pray for Juve to win CL and possibly make triplete and then maybe Buffon with his narrative can win balon d'or instead of Cristiano. Messi has no chance, not with this format.

have you learned nothing from recent bdors ?

ronaldo scored 3 against atletico in a CL semifinal = bdor . That's pretty much all he had to do.

for messi to win bdor without winning CL he has to score 100 goals a season .

Funny how ronaldo is shaping up to have a better end to his career than Messi, primarily because of the not so insightful people that run our club.

When we had the right individuals running our club back in the day it was lights out.

Better end to his career maybe trophy wise, but in terms of level of play there has never been a point where there was this big of a difference between the two.

Seriously, France Football is corrupted. The journalists blasts Messi all the time and says Ronaldo is much better since january. They didn't even tweeted on Messi's Clasico. But on Rakitic yes! His name is Eric Marchand.
He also receive a message on his phone from Jorge Mendes just after Ronaldo last goal against Athletico, live on tv at 'L'Equipe du soir' show. He said Jorge was very happy and he looked as happy as him.
I'm not even talking of the dick name Nabil Djellit.

Forget it, Ballon d'or sucks now.

Golden Shoe all but wrapped up. Bas Dost got no goals today. He has 1 game left and needs 4 goals to match Leo.

Lewandowski hit 30 today but has 1 game left, he's out of it too.

Barcaforum, humour me.

Which Messi goal made you shake your head in disbelief the most?

I'd pick his chip against Leverkusen in 2012. I remember sitting in a bar and just laughing at how perfect it was. I couldn't even dream of doing something so outrageous on a football pitch.

'Tiki taka' is dead. Watching Messi tonight is just painful. He's dropping incredibly deep to pick up the ball and grandads like Iniesta think they have all the time in the world to turn and make a safe pass rather than getting it to the front three ASAP.

Unless the midfield is strengthened, Real Madrid will win the league again next season, and Ronaldo will overtake his Ballon d'Or total.

Just watching Sevilla and the intensity and movement they play with as a team makes me so jealous we don't have a coach like Sampaoli, even without the players we have they look so much better as unit with so much character and identity. Then you switch over to our team and you realize there is no central idea, no focal point, no philosophy, it's just slow build up play and give to the MSN and let them figure a way. How awesome are those three players they make up for all those things. Now just imagine a proper midfield and good tactics by a good coach.

Didn't watch the game, how did Messi do today? I am guessing it wasn't a good game for him since there is not a single one comment after the game?

Exactly. Unless the board makes the right choice with the right coach, this is what will happen.
A shame and disgrace for the sport.
