Ronaldo isn't just a goalscorer smh he is the most complete player the football world has ever seen. He scores all kinds of goals and creates space and chances for his teammates with his movement which is second to none btw. People say he always scores tap ins, its because he is always in the right position to score them because his off the ball movement is excellent. Also he has like 215+ assists which is not bad at all.

CR is the most complete STRIKER.
Messi is the most complete player.

The way Barca lost yesterday, being completely dominated in all areas, while nothing worked from the keeper to the forward, says a lot about tatics, formation and the team in general. If someone watch games when teams are being completely dominated from the first minute till the end, it's most due to wrong, dumb tatics. So it's easy to realize that it's is really hard for just one player to impact the game.
Barca spent most of the time getting pressed and having to pass back until Ter Stegen kicks to Suarez. In the few moments Barca had time to play, we just played slow side-passes until someone lost the ball or ball to Ter Stegen then Suarez again. It was the same cycle the whole game.
Can you guys imagine 10 players playing like yesterday and only Messi running around and making things happen up and down, dribbling, passing, shooting and scoring? I can't. Neither Salah, Ronaldo, Neymar, could have done better yesterday if the whole team plays terrible like Barca did.
My point is that Messi should and could have done much better in the last seasons in CL, putting more effort and focus in every action, helping teammates, making himself available more often, trying new things when usual stuff isn't going well. But there wasn't much that he could have done if we look to yesterday game. It was Barca at their worst game and Roma at their best, nothing that only one guy could change.
To conclude I think Barca needs a big big rebuild in probably every area, except the goalkeeper. It's time to some old guys to say goodbye, time to release dead weight, time to sell most of the bench and bring new defenders, new midfielders, new strikers and specially a new coach. Could write a textbook about Valverde weird actions, but will just leave this: Your desire to win should be always bigger than your fear of lose and it seems that Valverde thinks the opposite.

Again, since this post was last on previous page.

Shut up about Ronaldo vs. Messi. I am far more concerned about the future of our club currently. If we don't sack Valverde until the beginning of the 18/19 season and get some reinforcements on the field (especially in the midfield and attack/wings), the future of our club, especially in Europe is not bright once this magician retires.

Looks like today is the day for silly statements.

Do you understand what the word complete means? It doesn t mean that he can score with both legs+head. What about passing? Creativity? Defense?

What happens if you put Ronaldo in the middle of the pitch, with lots of traffic?

What happens if you put Ronaldo as the main creative force?

Even Messi is not the "most complete player the football world has ever seen", but he is much closer to this label as CR is.

I think we should sack valverde and let the players play without a coach for the rest of the season
Im pretty sure if the players didnt have a coach we wouldnt have lost to roma :))

Also physically, Ronaldo is a freak lets be honest here. He is one of the greatest athletes sports has ever seen, let alone football. What he is doing at 33 years of age is nothing short of ridiculous and unheard of.

Zlatan has been doing the same.

As much as we criticize Ronaldo for only being a poacher, he's caused more problems for Juve in the first 13 minutes than Messi did in 90 against Roma

One can understand the fact that Messi wouldn’t show tremendous movement, intensity or insane work ethic in every match. He’s not young anymore and he’s also played a lot of matches but what I don’t understand is why he has to play 90 minutes every single match even before crucial games? Why did he have to play 90 min against Leganes when the title is almost already in grasp? You have to maintain your work rate so you are as close to optimal condition as possible come the crucial games. This is what Zidane has done very well with his rotations in the last 2 seasons. You saw Cristiano getting subbed in the Madrid derby but that rarely if ever happens with Messi and we all know he has the power to change that if he wanted.

Messi was let down by teammates mostly, but I agree he could have done more to get on the ball. When the game doesn’t match his ideal conditions he seems to tune out.

His legacy has been chipped away at by the Club. Real built a team around Cristiano to get the best out of him, the cunts running this Club tried to make Messi build his own team by getting the best out of everyone else.

Ronaldo will get his sixth Ballon d'Or and that'll be that. History made, from 4-1 down.
