Well it doesn't matter what he does with Argentina..Argentina need a miracle to even come to the finals this time..They need Messi to do everything from create from the midfield to score ..They need something like Chelsea 2012 UCL or the Portugal from last Euro where they avoided everything or were incredibly lucky and still their strikers won't score ...Top to bottom they are incompetent when it comes to playing for Argentina. Messi in midfield means less chances that Argentina can score considering we've seen the incompetence of Higuain and Aguero for quite a few tournaments now.

I agree with everything you said, but I've yet to meet a CR fan who thinks Messi is better all time. Some give a TON of credit to Messi no doubt, and some might be more polite about it than others, but when push comes to shove, they back their poacher as their GOAT. As they should, I suppose?

People are forgetting the fact that Messi played even better after they went down to 10 men, which makes it even more impressive.
