Lucho is bang average. The only good tactial move from his time here was swapping the positions of Messi and Suarez in late 2014, but they even decided that on their own without him.

I would genuinely take Valverde over Lucho.

It's debatable, some might believe Lucho is World Class too, however I need to see more.

He had a charismatic personality though and was a leader not afraid to bench senior players. So he had that going for him.

Tata is better for NTs or smaller teams and same probably goes for Valverde.

Lucho is not world class, but is a good manager and has a big personality.

There aren't very many world class managers out there really. Actually I think pep is the only really true one. The only one who really improves players and makes the whole team play better. Ancellotti is very good but not at peps level

There are 6-7 world class managers out there, some very good ones, and a few decent ones. Valverde for example would be of the 3rd type. Someone like Pochettino, or someone like Sarri would be in the 2nd class. Guys like Pep, Klopp, Simeone, Allegri, Zidane, Ancelotti are first tier.

Lucho would also be in the 2nd tier maybe.

Great photo, Zidane is the only player from who Messi has asked his shirt for in 2005

Luis Enrique, despite his flaws was much, much better than Valverde. I have not seen any Barca manager who is as cowardly as Valverde. He made us a worse team.

hes actually becoming UNDERRATED. people are so used to him producing this magic it doesn't even suprise people anymore. Ballon d'or can now be declared a worthless sham if this man isn't in the top 3

considering the rumors he'll not even be in top 5

No guardiola is out on his own. Jury is still out on zidane. Alot of luck in winning those champions leagues. Klopp hasn't won enough to be considered up there. You do realise Liverpool have lost their last five European games. As for simeone his defensive style which is alot easier to coach doesn't put him up there. Sarri definitely can't be up there having won nothing. Valverde has done enough to be close enough to those 3. Ancellotti and allegri are the closest to pep but allegri is a bit too negative. If allegri was at Barca he would probably be doing alot of the things valverde is doing like the 442 and not playing dembele. I would actually put pochettino closest to pep. I know he has won nothing but he has improved his team and players so much and his team totally outplayed allegri's last year with attacking football in both legs and were unlucky not to go through. He would be second on my list behind pep
