Do you think he'll play all three games over the coming week? For me, the best option would be for him to play against Valencia and Madrid but then rest against Bilbao when Dembele returns

I doubt valverde will rest him against bilbao seen as it's away. I rhink he should play the first leg against Madrid seen as Madrid are usually tougher at the nou camp and even if it's a draw be on the bench at the bernebeau

Unless we win by 3-4, I can't see him sitting out the return leg. Him resting against Sevilla before is probably more likely.

The few next weeks will be kinda exhausting for the team. A lot of big matches in a short period.
I hope Leo will be used the wise way. He needs to save his energy for the two biggest goals of this year: UCL with Barcelona & Copa America with Argentina.
If he succeeds in both, a 6th BallonD'Or is guaranteed.

Can't really sit out sevilla away seen as the last time he did we lost 2 nil and the time before we were losing 2 nil until he saved us

Why the fuck do people think he should be resting every other game? That's not doing Messi any favours whatsoever, in fact any player if their season is stop start by missing matches.

Because he is 31, his stamina is one of his weakest points, and we need him fresh for the CL. Why is it hard to understand that his minutes need to be managed well?

Why does his stamina matter when he only runs 5 km per game? Of course he can play every 3 games EASILY.

Poor stamina or not, his control and passing today has been laughably crap. One magic touch, the shot that he «scored» on, that’s been it. 0 sprints in the first half I think.
