its hilarious watching people slate Semedo for passing backwards all the time yet the elephant in the room is Messi.

Messi is the goat and is still the best player in the world but even he cant escape aging. we cannot play 100% revolved around him anymore and its pretty pathetic our players (looking at Alba mainly) pass the buck to him at every opportunity.

He is not surrounded by donkeys and his form in CL is his own fault. He needs to work on his stamina. He needs to start playing without the ball to be able to win CL. He is indisputable GOAT but he needs to be used properly like in the first season under Lucho. Not every ball needs to go trough Messi and he can't drift to the middle every fucking time. In this way he becomes too predictable and all other players like Demebele or Coutinho become irrelevant and limited. What matters far more is the CL game and the el Clasico league game. We beat Real Madrid in the 2nd league of the copa all we get is the bragging right for a couple of days. Not worth it.
