And i know he is still best player in the world by a margin and obviously a GOAT but maaan, if he is 9.5/10 player today he was 11/10 back then

Watching some 2011 highlights against ManU...Damn,he was fast as hell back then,like by far the fastest player on the pitch,while possessing elite dribbling skills.However,even though he was a genius back then,i can definitely see how he has gradually improved/perfected his football IQ through the years.

So all in all,while this Messi isn’t as impressive as he used to be, he is roughly as effective as he used to be,which is actually backed by his stats.

Actually if you stick this old and wise Messi in the Pep era,there is a high chance we 4-peat as CL champions IMO.
